Bart Praet DUO - BART PRAET (CD)

Duo. Is Bart Praet's first solo project. The name of this project does not only refer to the number of musicians – Bart is musically accompanied by Philip Masure – DuO also refers to the origins of the music itself: traditional melodies on the one hand and new own compositions from somewhere else. The traditional part was influenced by Galicia and Ireland, melodies that remained in Bart's memory since childhood. The own compositions are inspired by traditional music from all over Europe, assimilated with the soft influences of other genres. DuO is therefore a musical journey through Europe, delivered in a unique way. The combination of wind instruments and string instruments brings an authentic touch to each of the songs.
